Early Morning Volunteering 

1. Arrive at the cabins (or Field) and debrief with and relieve overnight cabin parent volunteers. Ask how you can help!

2. Help the Polar Bear Parent Volunteers get kids ready for Polar Bear Swim.

3. Remain in cabin with kids who want to skip swimming.

4. When the Polar Bear Swimmers return, get all kids (those who remained in cabin and those who went swimming) ready for breakfast, if needed.

5. Stay in cabin until Polar Bear Parent Volunteers take all kids in your cabin to breakfast.

1. Arrive at the cabins and quietly wake up the kids who want to participate.

2. Help the kids get ready and walk them down to the pool shortly before their scheduled swim

3. Follow pool duty instructions.

4. Give hot apple cider to kids that want it.

5. Bring the kids back to their cabins and help them get ready for breakfast, if needed

6. Walk all kids in the grade to breakfast (those who went swimming AND those who stayed in cabins)

7. Help kids get breakfast and sit at tables with kids until the end of their grade’s breakfast. Please enforce mealtime protocols

8. Walk kids to 1st morning activity and hand-off kids to the Parent Activity Volunteers.

NOTE: If your grade is on set-up or clean-up duty, ensure the kids get there early or stay later.
