This was probably my least favourite assignement. I really didn't enjoy watching these streamers as they discussed nothing but played games. I know this is popular as I can see the sheet number of people that are watching not only these three Streamers but also many many more on Twitch. I chose these three for different reasons. Sodapoppin is one of my husband's favourites so I thought it would be interesting to take some time to watching someone he enjoys watching. Then I asked for someone who is comepletely different in what they play and their Twitch platform. Then I wanted to find a female streamer and was really unimpressed and didn't like watching her (despite her high number of subscribers) as I found it degrading to watch a woman sexualize herself for money like this. It isn't anything I would ever watch or subscribe to encourage this.

I watched Sodapoppin and loltyler1 for about 30 minutes each but could only last for about 15-20 max watching AMOURANTH. Although my husband enjoys watching some of these streamers I don't believe this will be an activity I will be adding to my daily or weekly repertoire anytime soon.

I decided to create the chart below as a means to collect my observations based on the categories discussed in Twitch and the Work of Play by Taylor (2018).
