Introduction to Unit
In this unit you will be learning how to develop a mobile app. This will give you a basic intro into software design and the process behind creating and testing an app. You will explore and learn the characteristic of a mobile app and their development. You might be allowed to publish the app and enjoy peoples feedback.

To understand the uses and characteristics of a mobile app. You will learn about different types of apps and their uses. And understand what an app is and how it functions. You will also learn, what different features of a mobile app is.

You will need to start to design a mobile app. You will learn about the software development life cycle and how it impacts the development. Then you will design the mobile app and plan what it will do and how you are going to make it do that. You need to plan this as it will improve the likeliness of it being successful and functioning as intended.

The final step will be to develop and test the app. You will build the skeleton of the app and build on it with feedback and refinement. You will need to produce an app that is to a set quality. And final you will test the app and refine it further.
How is This Unit Graded
How is This Unit Graded
This unit has 3 assignments that will be graded by our tutor and two others. These assignments will usually be a planning, developing and refinement assignment. They will be marked by our tutor, an internal source and a external source. You can achieve the highest grade by providing a very detailed and overall quality piece of work per assignment.
