On October 1, we gathered 25 pints of blood! This life-saving gift goes to hospitals to help out anyone in need of transfusions: kids, adults, and even military soldiers. Whether someone needs red blood cells, platelets, or plasma, the Red Cross can help them! Since a single donation can be split into multiple components, each donation can help up to three people. That means our October 1 blood drive helped save 75 lives! This blood drive was the first of 4 for the 2025-2026 school year. Our next drive will be on December 3, and we have 45 appointment slots to fill! With the help of the Red Cross, we are able to raise money for the graduating class; the money goes to a senior in NHS for college scholarships.
