This year, NHS hosted the annual Chess Tournament, where anybody from grades 3-12 had a chance to compete in a single elimination bracket, playing quick 10 minute rounds. These students who participated showcased their chess skills, competing for an awesome portable chess set! On December 13, 2024, we crowned our third ever chess winner, Caleb Vavlin, from the 9th Grade Class!
