Today we gathered 33 pints of blood of our 27 expected! The blood goes to hospitals to help out anyone in need of transfusions: kids, adults, and even military soldiers. Whether the person needs red blood cells, platelets (special donation), or plasma they can get it! Since a single donation can be split into multiple components, each donation can help up to three people. That's 99 people just from one day! Today's blood dive is the first of 3 for this year, the next one being on March 26th! With the help of the Red Cross, we are able to raise money for this coming graduate class; the money will be going to a senor in NHS for college scholarships.  

Many people decided to come out to our fall blood drive to help. A couple of teachers including Mr. and Mrs. Harpe, Senora, and Mr. Albers came to donate blood. With the help of our comfort team they were relaxed throughout their stay.
