We're learning more about our rapidly evolving world and planet to discover applications that can combat some of our world's biggest environmental and societal issues through technology and innovation.
Math and Patterns
We are discovering the profound potential and significance of mathematics beyond mere numerical calculations. We are uncovering how mathematics can enhance our comprehension of the world.
English Literature
We're discovering the true art behind English and how we can utilize this powerful tool to express emotions and feelings in a journey of exploration, self-discovery, and the continuous refinement of our ability to express the complexity of the human experience.
Social Studies
We're discovering the historic past of our planet and how they continue to shape our citizenship and identity. How do current events, economics, and politics play a role in worldview and our quality of life?

We're focused on creating a brighter, more sustainable future to give many more generations the ability to witness our planet and its hidden wonders and beauty. This means investing towards sustainable energy, and how we can better protect and preserve our planet from the greatest societal and environmental threats endangering our future. Climate change, habitat destruction, pollution, and the depletion of natural resources all pose formidable challenges. Yet, we believe in the power of collective action, innovation, and awareness to counter these threats.
Innovative Research
Our researchers are adept at solving issues. We move from marvels and ideas to making plans and acting. To realize the potential, we are prepared to work together. Consider the work we've done in brain and neurodevelopmental studies. Our researchers' cross-campus and disciplinary collaboration resulted in a significant donation to establish the Azrieli Accelerator, a ground-breaking method for studying brain development. Today, breakthroughs pioneered in Calgary can help children and adults everywhere. CSU accelerates innovation by embracing curiosity as the catalyst, igniting the pursuit of knowledge, and collaborating with the public sector, local authorities, nonprofit organizations, and the corporate sector.

How can CSU and you work together to help the community that we care about? It's a problem whose answers are always changing. Our city's and CSU's futures are intertwined, which is why we make it a priority to establish deep connections that strengthen our local economy and community.
