CONTEST JUDGES

Are there any members, especially in Utah, that would be interested in learning how to be an Achievement Program Judge?

The procedures are easy to learn.  I like to pair an experienced judge with a trainee.  In this way the region and divisions obtain a cadre of experienced judges.  There are five categories to be judged, and I like to have at least two judges for each category.

If interested, see the Contest chairman during the convention.  I like to start the judging at 1:30pm on Saturday afternoon.  Depending upon the number of models to be judged, we should be finished by 4:00pm, leaving plenty of time to get ready for the banquet.

DISPLAY MODELS

Are you making progress on your display model for the Model Display and Contest at the Golden Spike Limited Convention this year?  Your contest chairman is working on a Mini Diorama just for fun.  However, I have run into a problem.  Trying to find figures that represent miners that are just standing around and looking at a photographer is not easy.  They just do not seem to exist.
