Well, spring is upon us in a big way and I know many of you are turning towards the outdoor season list of activities of yardwork, golf, tennis, etc. I would encourage everyone to keep building models and

getting them ready for the Region Convention Contest in Durango. It should be a relaxing convention and train ride and what better way to top off the weekend then to be honored for your prize-winning model.

Another request I would make of everyone is to get involved with your local Division. The local Divisions are the lifeblood of the NMRA by fostering social interaction, modeling skills, input to the NMRA, and

outreach to the community. Recently the folks from South Suburban Division set up their modules at Children’s Hospital for the 37th year. It is a real pleasure to watch members come together to put on such a wonderful display for the children. Remember, the Divisions are only as good as our participation can make them.
