Don Colburn
Don Colburn is the author of five poetry collections, including four chapbooks, the latest of which is Mortality, with Pronoun Shifts (Main Street Rag, 2019), winner of the 2018 Cathy Smith Bowers Poetry Award. His full-length As If Gravity Were a Theory (Cider Press, 2006) won the Cider Press Book Award. His prize-winning poems have been anthologized and widely published, among others in Comstock Review, River Styx, The Nation, and Ploughshares. A longtime reporter for The Washington Post and The Oregonian, he was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in feature writing. He lives in Portland, OR.
