Yvette Neisser

Yvette Neisser is the author of two poetry collections, Iron into Flower (2022) and Grip (2011 Gival Press Poetry Award), and translator of two collections from Spanish. Founder of the DC-Area Literary Translators Network, she has taught writing at George Washington University, The Writer’s Center, and elsewhere. By day, she works in international development.

Natalie Shapero

Natalie Shapero was born in Chester, Pennsylvania and earned a BA in Writing Seminars from the Johns Hopkins University, an MFA in Poetry from the Ohio State University, and a JD from the University of Chicago. She is the author of the poetry collections No Object (Saturnalia), Hard Child (Copper Canyon Press), and Popular Longing (Copper Canyon Press). Her writing has appeared in The New Yorker, The New York Times Magazine, The London Review of Books, The New York Review of Books, The Paris Review, The Nation,  Poetry, and elsewhere.  She was a finalist for the 2016 Griffin  Poetry Prize. Shapero teaches at Tufts University.
