President's Message - June 2022

Hello CAEOP Members & Friends,

My name is Juno Fernandez Stevens and I humbly accepted the role of your CAEOP President for the 2022-2023 year. Just a bit about myself, I am the Human Resources Analyst at Mt. San Jacinto College nestled in the heart of Temecula, CA and I have been a part of CAEOP in various capacities since 2014. In addition to becoming the President this year for CAEOP, I was also the President of my local affiliate Riverside County Association of Office Professionals (RCAEOP) for the last two years. I'm excited to follow the amazing leadership of Cyndee Amezcua and continue the traditions that has made CAEOP the primer educational office professional social networking group in California.

We are grateful and appreciated the magnificent attendance that our last conference in March 2022 attracted. The pictures are now available to view under the gallery in the Conference section of our website. Our CAEOP Executive Board will be meeting in June to plan the next CAEOP Conference in 2023 and we hope to make this one just as successful.

For my theme this year, I have selected the theme of "Rise Up" Elevate your Career with CAEOP. My goal this year is for CAEOP to provide tools and resources that will assist our CAEOP members elevate their skills, knowledge and abilities to get that next promotion. I also would like to increase our membership and participation with our local affiliates throughout the state of California.

Thank you for the opportunity to serve our members and I will provide updates as they develop for our next conference.
