The CAC for Special Education must be comprised of a majority of parents and family members, but may also include professionals and community members.

Vote on CAC for Special Education issues, members and minutes
Work with BOE and our Community Partners
Become an advocate for students in SFUSD

If you are interested in becoming a member, we welcome you to attend two consecutive meetings and submit an application. The application must be reviewed by the CAC for Special Education executive board, voted on by the general membership and confirmed by the San Francisco Board of Education.
Steps to becoming a member.
Attend 2 consecutive meetings.
Fill out the online application OR print the application, fill it out and email it to: cacspedsf@gmail.com
Talk to at least one board member to let them know you have submitted an application.
Attend the following meeting at which your application will be voted on.
Keep attending meetings and stay active!
