Strategic priorities describe specific actions Ensign College focuses on to further its mission and institutional objectives. These strategic priorities:

• Are assigned under the direction of the President’s Executive Council in response to internal and external data, trends, etc.

• Provide institutional focus by clearly defining the areas college leadership has determined currently need attention,(i.e. they are not meant to be a comprehensive list of every effort across the university)

• Generally describe efforts on a short-term basis (as anticipated for the next few years)

• Are specific and measurable/reportable (i.e. strategic priority plans should describe specific objectives and key results rather than only provide an aspirational statement)

• Are each discussed and reported on annually in university leadership settings (the President’s Executive Council, Strategy & Alignment Council, and at times in other settings across campus)

BYU-Pathway Worldwide has partnered with Ensign College to provide access to certain online certificates & degrees. 

Some certificate courses are awarded through BYU-Idaho while others are awarded through Ensign College. All Ensign College Certificates are transferable to BYU-Idaho to build a degree. Students can stack certificates from both Ensign and BYU-Idaho to build their degrees. Students who begin with an Ensign certificate will, upon matriculation, be an Ensign student serviced through BYU-Pathway Worldwide. When they select a BYU-Idaho certificate as their next certificate, they will make a transition to BYU-Idaho, still serviced through BYU-Pathway Worldwide (See OD - Switching Schools for more information). The Communication Degree, and the Information Technology Degree will be awarded through Ensign College. All other degrees awarded will be through BYU-Idaho.

In addition to the new programs being offered, the following existing certificates will now be provided by Ensign College. For all other audiences, the following certificates will continue to be awarded by BYU-Idaho until April 2022.
