National Tournament Sites
Tournament of Champions: The Tournament of Champions (TOC) is one of the most prestigious tournaments on the circuit. In order to qualify, you must earn two "bids" at select tournaments (Harvard, Yale, UPenn, etc.)
NCFL Grand National Tournament: The NCFL Grand Tournaments (CatNats) is another of the national tournaments. In order to qualify, you must earn the qual at the NYCFL Grand Tournament held in March.
NSDA Nationals: The National Speech and Debate Association National Tournament (NSDA Nats) is the most prestigious of the national tournaments. Held during an entire week in June, this tournament often conflicts with finals and regents at Byram Hills. Still, if you can qualify for it, it's worth trying to figure out a way to go. Qualifications are given out at Districts in February.
NIETOC: The National Individual Event Tournament of Champions is a very prestigious national tournament for Speech. Like the TOC, you must earn "bids" at select tournaments in order to qualify.
NDCA -- The National Debate Coaches Association hosts a debate only championship tournament each year. Qualifications are easier to get for this tournament than for the TOC or NSDA Nationals but it is still a prestigious tournament.
