CCCB: Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona

The CCCB is a public consortium created by the Diputació de Barcelona (Provincial Council) and the Ajuntament de Barcelona (Barcelona City Council).

It is located in a 17th century church that became a “Casa de Caridad” (Almshouse) in 1802 still 1957. The CCCB was officially inaugurated in 1994 and constitutes a multidisciplinary institution that organizes exhibitions, debates, concerts, lectures and all kind of cultural events. It is a meeting place that serves as a platform for dialogue, creativity and innovation.
