INDOOR PERCUSSION

The Butler High School Indoor Winter Percussion Program is a competitive extension of the Butler High School Percussion Curriculum and Marching Band Percussion Programs. This organization is designed to provide quality percussion education in the competitive realm of WGI (Winter Guard International) and CWEA (Carolina Winter Ensemble Association), while also supplementing the direct experience of their classroom education at their respective schools.

Exciting News from Butler Bands!

Our Winter Percussion program is growing stronger than ever! Butler is now the proud home of the South Charlotte Beats for the 2026 CWEA competitive season, featuring a drum line and incredible student talent from Butler, Providence, and Ballantyne Ridge High Schools.

We couldn’t be more excited to expand opportunities, showcase amazing talent, and bring the energy of our program to the CWEA stage!
