BENEFITS OF FUNDRAISING

Through the efforts of every band family, whether in Marching/Wind Ensemble/Symphonic/Jazz/Percussion/Butler Beats, fundraising is important to cover expenses NOT covered by band fees. Band Boosters plan fundraising events to help pay for copyrighted music, transportation, instrument repair, extra event fees, concert band expenses, trip fees, new uniforms, clinicians/directors/instructors/choreographers/drill etc. 

It is the Booster’s job to try and keep fees to a minimum for each student, and the more successful our fundraising efforts are, the better chance we have to reduce the cost of things like registration fees. We are asking each family to participate in our annual fundraisers to benefit and balance our budget. 

Obviously not every family can contribute to all fundraisers, and we wouldn’t want you too! But you can help by expanding our reach to those outside our band family - friends, family members, neighbors, coworkers - can all take part in our fundraising efforts. Spread the word! Share our social media posts! Also, your student’s participation in fundraising will give them a sense of achievement, teamwork, responsibility, and ownership in the Band Program.
