Hello, welcome to 4H Cloverbuds!
4-H Clover Buds is a program designed for children aged 5 to 7 years old who are not yet old enough to join the regular 4-H club. The program offers a variety of hands-on activities that provide a fun and safe learning environment for young children. Clover Buds focuses on developing life skills such as decision-making, problem-solving, and communication, through age-appropriate activities. These activities include arts and crafts, science experiments, outdoor exploration, and community service projects. The goal of 4-H Clover Buds is to introduce children to the 4-H experience, while also promoting positive social development and building self-esteem.
• Non-competitive. Age-appropriate
Studies prove non-competitive environments are more likely to develop confidence, creativity and competence in children. Cloverbud activities correspond with the youngsters' stages of physical, mental, emotional, and social development.
• Safe, Short-term Activities
Because young children have short attention spans, program activities are brief, uncomplicated, and hands-on learning experiences. There are more than 50 different activities available in a core Cloverbuds curriculum, for example: weather, recycling, staying fit and safe, and caring for pets, plants and feathered friends.
We will meet one Wednesday a month and continue until May of 2024. Our beginning meetings will concentrate on getting to know each other and the meetings after January we will be talking about Pocket Pets! We want this to be a fun, exciting place to be and hope that your children will love it! Along the way we will have opportunities to do ALL club activities with the other clubs as well as participate in giving back to others. We hope to see you for these!
We will post a calendar after our first meeting, if everyone agrees that Wednesdays work! Our meetings will be held in BVR at 6:00pm.
We appreciate any help or input along the way. Please let us know if you have an idea!
