Intervention and Referral Services (I&RS) and 504 Services

Parents who are concerned about their child's progress academically, behaviorally, socially, or emotionally should consider reaching out to the Intervention and Referral Services (I&RS) team at their child's specific school.  

The Assistant Principal and School Counselor at each school are able to assist parents with initiating and monitoring this ongoing process.  Parents and school staff will work together as a team to develop a plan to help the child make progress through a variety of interventions and services specially designed for each child.  This may include an RTI plan, a 504 plan, additional program options, or a referral to Special Education when all other avenues have been explored.
