I built a Marketing Plan different than my original Business Plan. Wanted to show past experiences to created different type of businesses.
Smith & Shea Tech Support
Market – Children in school, those unable to repair computers, small companies, and the elderly.
Product Definition – Computer repair, computer component, and computer sales. Competitive
Landscape – Any business or group that repairs computers at customers' homes or shops. Additionally, any business that sells computers in person or online and offers online computer repair.
Positioning – Being able to offer computers or components to keep customers up to date with today's internet presence while also being able to maintain a customer's computer working smoothly.
Communications Strategies – Utilizing the free social media profiles on every site that is offered. Use local media such as radio, television, and newspapers to publicize the existence of the company..
Packaging and Fulfillment – The initial packaging would be that of the business where the goods are purchased or that of the goods the buyer would like. I would use company-branded items to establish a stronger market presence once the business is profitable. Additionally, would create a logo that would depict the products and services the business provides.
Launch Strategies – Encourage giving away company-branded goods by providing a discount on the initial repair or purchase. Inform clients that your business would visit them at home to repair their computers and to sell them computer accessories.
Public Relations – To inform the public about the opening of a new computer shop that offers sales and repairs, get in touch with local radio stations, newspapers, and television. To reduce costs, try to use radio and newspapers for news stories rather than advertisements.
Advertising - Purchasing advertisements on media sites and search engines. Additionally, purchasing advertising in the neighborhood newspaper to bring repairs from elderly people who are unable to perform them themselves. Spending time on the radio and television after the firm is profitable.
Other Promotions – Anywhere you can, promote your business. Create a website that may be viewed on popular search engines while attempting to keep costs as low as feasible. Offer a warranty for a predetermined period of time.
Pricing – Keep your prices lower than those of the competitors at initially to encourage clients to choose your business. Once the business is established, it should only raise prices by 5% less than the competition to keep customers interested in returning based first on pricing and later on service.
Distribution – Repair professionals will deliver products while they are at customers' houses. Except in cases where the buyer pays for more expensive delivery, any out-of-stock items will be shipped to the customer using the least expensive shipping carrier.
Vertical Markets/Segments – Utilizing nearby businesses who supply complementary goods and services. not with businesses that rival the corporation. Use coupons for nearby restaurants and grocery shops if a consumer plans to purchase services from our business.
International – Without a significant increase in the company's size, there would not be a worldwide presence.
Success Metrics – This would depend on the rate of income increase each week, then monthly, and finally annually.
Schedule – On weekdays, the hours would be 8 am to 7 pm. This would benefit anyone who require someone after 5 o'clock and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday and significant national holidays are closed.
