A collection of Japanese literature inspired by the hit manga and anime series Bungou Stray Dogs by Asagiri Kafka and Harukawa35.
I have always been interested in cultures and books, and there was something about Japanese literature that grabbed my attention so strongly it became an obsession. There is definitely something beautiful, mysterious, and relatable in Japanese writing that is unlike literary works from any other culture. It is easy to find the big names, authors like Natsume SĹŤseki, Mishima Yukio, and Tanizaki Jun'ichirĹŤ. But most of Japanese literature remains obscure for English speakers.Â
As I searched for more books and information about Japanese literary figures and their works I compiled what I found into this library. My only hope is that it will inspire others to explore Japanese literature and maybe even fall in love with it in their own way.
