Kindergarten presents the student's first introduction to the visual arts as they enter the Natick Public Schools. We will focus on the exploration of art materials, development of fine motor skills, and setting expectations for respectful personal and social behavior. Connections will be made to influential artists and their styles, as well as children's literature. The emphasis at this level is more about trying (process) than completing (product).
