Hypnosis is a natural brain wave pattern that we enter many times a day, for example when we are daydreaming, just before we go to sleep and even when we are watching television and can be described as nothing more than a focus.
It is a very pleasant and relaxing state where ones awareness is heightened, and contrary to popular belief you will not lose awareness or control.
It is in this trance like state that the conscious part of our mind is bypassed and we have more access to the subconscious. We also know that this is when we are most susceptible to suggestion.
Hypnotherapy uses this trance like state to bypass the conscious mind and access the sub-conscious directly.
It is whilst utilising this tool that we can re-program the subconscious mind to change unwanted patterns of behaviour or harmful habits such as Smoking or Phobias and to bring down an individuals anxiety and any associate symptoms.
I have helped so many people over the years with so many different things they wanted to improve in their life. From overcoming fears of spiders, dogs, bridges, having more confidence in speaking at weddings, or speaking with the opposite sex, being more successful at work, to sweat less.
To stop smoking, stop vaping, stop gambling. To sleep better, to be calmer, have less anxiety. To control their anger. To gain weight, to lose weight. Being able to be more authentic by being comfortable saying no when they keep saying yes. In preparing for having a child, being relaxed for birth. even hypnobirthing. For relationship problems.
How to cope at university and other stressful situations. Basically what ever it is that is impacting you from getting the best out of you life. Hypnotherapy with life coaching has been invaluable to many people who have asked for help. That's all it really takes is recognising when you need help and being able to find the right person to guide you there.
With depression and self harm. What ever way stress manifests itself you do not have to put up with it. The mind is more than you can imagine and learning to get more out of your mind has always been an enjoyable journey for all the people I have helped.
You need a consultation followed by several therapy sessions. The amount of sessions differs according to what is going on and how much stress you have been carrying. For some a life time of stress, others not as much.
Considering how long therapy was in the past, hypnotherapy is a relatively quick therapy and can take any where from 3 -6 -9 - 12 sessions an hour each time. Which is quick, right. So if you would like to discuss anything and believe me I have had so many different enquiries, it will be my pleasure to help.
