PTA Welcome Letter

Dear Bridger Creative Science School Community,

We are excited to welcome you back for another fantastic year at BCSS!

We are your PTA Board Leadership for the next school year. We are deeply grateful for the ongoing support from a dedicated group of parents and caregivers who contribute to the smooth operation of our PTA community in various roles.

The mission of the BCSS PTA is to support, advocate for, and engage our community of committed teachers, staff, students, and families. As we all know, public schools are deeply underfunded, and PTA support plays a vital role in ensuring the success of our school. With the creation of Bridger Creative Science School—a merger of two schools in 2023—we have a unique opportunity to forge a new vision for our students and community this year. Our shared goal is to create a school environment filled with joy, learning, creativity, growth, and connection.

While fundraising for our school is an important component of our PTA, especially to support the constructivist learning model at BCSS, community involvement is equally important. Parent and caregiver engagement is the foundation of maintaining our traditions and providing opportunities for all our students. We understand that many families have busy schedules, and time is often limited—but every contribution, big or small, is valuable. We all have something meaningful to offer.

There are so many meaningful ways to contribute to this important work, whether through financial support or volunteering your time. 

From helping with the Fall Ball decorations to DJ’ing a dance, planting spring bulbs, being a Classroom Lead, or chaperoning a field trip, your involvement makes a difference. Every contribution is a gift, and together we can continue to build a thriving, vibrant community at BCSS. Together we shine!
