Open the Bookings link for your assigned HR Ops team member (links below) and schedule an available 1 hour time slot
Onboarding will take place in person (unless otherwise specified) at either your restaurant location or a nearby restaurant location.
*Please Note* - Managers should allot around 3 hours for the full onboarding experience. 1 hour for HR portion and 2 hours for the Hourly Harassment Training.

Email the new employee to confirm their onboarding date and time

- Use the email template provided which will ensure the following:
- The employee will fill in the electronic New Hire Form
- The employee is aware of the valid forms of ID to bring to complete their I9
- The employee knows when and where to meet HR for onboarding
- Always copy the HR Operations team member on your email to the employee so that everyone is looped in and on the same page

Add Employee into ADP
Add Employee into ADP
- Explain what ADP is used for and encourage employee to download the app to their phone
- Enter the employee into ADP utilizing the information on the New Hire Form
- Send employee the registration email
- Help employee to create a username and password, login to ADP, and complete the following:
- I9 section 1
- Tax forms (State and Federal)
- Emergency Contact
- Direct Deposit
- Handbook sign-off

Complete I9 Section 2 in ADP
Complete I9 Section 2 in ADP
- HR Operations team member will go into ADP to 'Process' --> 'HR'--> 'EI-9 Management'
- Find the employee with a 'Section 2 Pending' Status
- Complete Section 2 by utilizing information on the new employee's valid forms of ID
- Sign off on completion and submit.

Add the Employee into 7shifts
Add the Employee into 7shifts
- HR Operations team member will add the employee into 7shifts
- Instruct the employee to download the app
- Explain what they can use the app for
- Provide employee their clock in number
- Clock the employee in by "Adding a punch" under Time Clocking. Ensure their start time is added as the time they arrived for their onboarding. The on-site manager will need to show them how to clock out at the end of their shift.

- Employees are required to be certified in the following within the first 30 days of employment
- Food Handler's Certificate (All Employees)
- BASSET Card (Bartenders & Servers Only)
HR will then set the employee up for their Harassment Training.
