Instructions for 1st Semester Final Project
Create a mini-magazine that is 4 pages long based on a topic of your choice. It might be a good idea if you chose a topic similar to your oral final. Each page will have a visual appropriate to the topic. Also, each page will have minimally two paragraphs on the topic. For example, If I chose Fidel Castro, page one might be an overview of the man, two might be a history of his political involvement in Cuba, page three might be his current health issues, and page four might be his transfer of power to his brother Raul.
Vocab: use at least 15 vocab words from each chapter we have completed.
Grammar: There needs to be at least one example from all the grammar sections we have covered this year.
It should be typed and formated appropriately (with accents).
2nd Semester's Final Project could be a sequel (If you want).

1. Your Google 20% project will be based around the question: what problem do you want to solve?
You must cover all aspects of learning a language with your project: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. The writing should be at least one page describing the problem and your proposal to solve the issue. Make it visual! Listening (should be documented with screenshots) could either be listening to a youtube discussion / video or a podcast in Spanish on the topic. Reading will be accomplished by reading two articles on the topic in Spanish and translating the words you don't know. Speaking will be demonstrated by leaving me voicemail (719-445-9127) talking about the topic and your solution. Don't read your paper. You will also discuss your project in your oral final. How is this problem more complex than what your first thought?
