TPP Task 4 requires us future educators to plan and design a lesson plan. This task forces us to think about our students, their differences in background, culture, languages, and educational knowledge. When doing this, we are able to plan lessons for students of different levels while using supports and differentiation to scaffold their learning and assist their thinking.Â
For the lesson progression portion, it is a helpful requirement that acts as a template for when we actually teach the lesson. By labelling the amount of time we spend on each portion of the lesson, as well as a reminder for the supports students need at each segment, our teaching can remain effective and efficient.
