1st Braidwood Scout Group was first registered in 1928, however there is evidence that the League of Boy Scouts was formed in the area in 1918.
In 2016 the group was reformed, and has been growing ever since.
In 2018 the group celebrated it's official 90th and unofficial 100th birthday on Saturday 19th May.
