1st Braidwood Scout Group Fees 2025

For returning members: $390 (State fee for the year is $290 + Group fee of $100).

For new members: $450 (State fee for the year is $290 plus a $60 joining fee + Group fee of $100).

This covers the period April 2025-March 2026.

Our Group has reduced our annual Group fee for the first time, in recognition of the financial difficulties families may be facing currently.

We have reduced our Group fee down to $100 per year, that is a saving of $80 per year per member.

All members (youth and adults) are now required to register via our membership and billing platform - ScoutHub.

This is an online platform which will combine billing and member registration for our youth and leaders.

This platform combines Group fees and State fees into one easy payment.

The Scouts NSW State membership fee is $290 per year (covering the period April 2025-March 2026)

Sometimes we charge in smaller billing periods and the amount is calculated on a pro-rata basis.

In addition to the state fee for all members, there is a one-off administration fee of $60 for new members only.

This will be added to the State Registration fee at the time a member first registers.

Group fee is $100 per year(covering the period April 2025-March 2026)

This fee goes directly back to our Group and is used to cover general expenses

Every member will be given the opportunity to select 'upfront' or 'pay in instalments' during the registration process.

Family Support Fund:

The Scouts NSW Family Support Fund is an initiative to support families with the cost of Scouting.

Scouts NSW is a proud Active Kids Rebate provider.

The appropriate Scouting shirt can be purchased via The Scout Shop Website- https://scoutshop.com.au/

Navy pants/shorts(Joeys, Cubs & Scouts), tan pants /shorts(Venturers), enclosed shoes must be worn.
