1st Braidwood Scout Group Fees 2024

Fee Details 

If you are joining Scouts for the first there is a one-off registration fee of $60 that is included with the annual Scouts NSW membership fee of $280, which includes personal accident and public liability insurance cover. 

Scouts NSW have recently introduced a new platform for member registration and billing, and it’s called ScoutHub. 

This platform combines your Group fees and State fees into one easy payment! 

Here is a breakdown of the fee structure:

Scouts NSW portion ($280):

This will be divided into two equal six-month periods, each known as a ‘Trek’ -

  with a fee of $140 for ‘Trek 1’ from January to June 2024 and $140 for ‘Trek 2’ from July to December 2024. 

Group portion ($90 per Trek):

Section fee (for Mob, Pack, Troop or Unit) $30

Committee fee (goes to Group to cover general expenses) $60

The Scouts NSW Family Support Fund is an initiative to support families with the cost of Scouting.

ACTIVE KIDS

Scouts NSW is a proud Active Kids Rebate provider. 

All Active Kids vouchers redeemed with Scouts NSW will go towards the cost of the State Membership Fee, ensuring families who want their children to enjoy the Scout program can send their children to Scouts. 

Active Kids Vouchers are valued at $50 and will be available twice a year, starting from February 2024. Families who receive Family Tax Benefit part A/B will be eligible to apply for the vouchers. These vouchers are to be redeemed via the ScoutHub portal at time of online registration and before payment.

Uniform required for investiture:

The appropriate Scouting shirt can be purchased via The Scout Shop Website- https://scoutshop.com.au/

Navy pants/shorts(Joeys, Cubs & Scouts), tan pants /shorts(Venturers), enclosed shoes must be worn.
