Greetings!
I'm Mr. Bragg, ready to adventure with you through our classes outlined to the right. With me, it's straightforward, if you remember these five essentials:
You matter most: your safety, comfort, and interests shape our lessons.
We'll use technology to broaden our understanding in transformative ways.
All course materials, from slides to videos, will be a click away on Google Classroom.
Google Classroom is our workspace, while grades and feedback are logged on Powerschool.
We'll master course concepts and various tech tools together, with me guiding you confidently.
But we'll learn more than textbook content. We'll build key life skills like critical thinking, resilience, and problem-solving. Our voyage this year isn't solo, I'm with you, as an ally, mentor, cheerleader, navigating through challenges, and ascending knowledge peaks.
Each course unfolds unique learning opportunities. Learning is a tough, personal journey and I'll prompt you to self-reflect often. I'll steer the learning, fostering your curiosity and critical thinking, equipping you to find informed, credible answers. It's your responsibility to demonstrate this learning.
Grades in my courses are individual, reflecting your understanding against course objectives. Even in group work, I note individual contributions. Every class is a call to action. Be active, engage in discussions, create, read, evaluate media, complete group activities, answer questions, and log reflections. Show me your learning process, and I'll tailor my support.
I believe education should be interactive, skill-building, engaging, informative, and adaptable. I strive to create a safe, nurturing environment for every student to thrive.
