Species Sold: Dairy, Goats, Rabbits, Lamb, Turkey, Beef, Chickens, and Swine. Following the sale of all champions and reserves, the Sale Order within the species will be random and chosen through the species superintendents’ selection.
All animals are sold individually. Raise your bidder number or motion your hand at the price you are willing to pay. The buy-back price (resale) for each animal is listed in the catalog.
Custom Processing: A buyer may pay for the processing and packaging for personal use. Innovative Foods and Arapahoe Meat Company have spots available for your custom needs.
Resale: Buyers may consign purchases back to the Boulder County Junior Livestock Market Sale Committee for resale at the stated market price on sale day. The committee handles the details, and you pay only the difference between your bid and the market price. The buyer’s cost is the difference between your bid and the resale price (market price established on the sale day). The animal then belongs to the packer/resale buyer.
Pictures: A picture is taken of every animal sold. Every buyer receives a picture of the animal purchased. Those who purchase Grand Champion and/or Reserve Grand Champion animals will have the opportunity to have their photo taken with the animal during the sale.
Terms of Sale: Payment is preferred at the sale. Upon request, buyers may be invoiced after the sale. All sales are Net 15. Please make checks payable to the Boulder County Fair Livestock Show & Rodeo with Livestock Sale in the memo/notes. Credit cards are also accepted with an added service fee.

Add-ons: After each lot is confirmed as sold by the auctioneer, please raise your bid number. We will call on you for your add-on to that specific lot, and the funds will go directly to the exhibitor.
Paddle Raise: We will have two paddle raisers.
Department Paddle Raiser. The Department Paddle Raiser directly supports our Livestock Departments by funding clinics, hiring judges, awarding prizes, and covering other costs associated with administering these valuable programs.
