Livestock programs equip young people with the experience they need to succeed as adults, including leadership, communication, business management, self-confidence and problem-solving skills. It strengthens values like responsibility, dedication, hard work, and accountability.
Participants learn about food and where it comes from, helping them make healthy choices in the future. They learn good sportsmanship and are prepared for the competition of adulthood. And perhaps most importantly, they develop relationships that will last a lifetime.
