WHY: Community-building, Engagement, Inspiration. This routine aims to create a vibrant and connected student community by leveraging texting apps as a communication platform adopted program-wide. By utilizing Remind's features, learners can receive timely updates, access additional learning resources, share inspiring content, and engage in meaningful conversations. This routine enhances student engagement, persistence, and motivation.

HOW | Remind

1. Set up a Remind Community:

   1. Create a Remind account for the educational program.

   2. Establish guidelines and norms for communication within the community.

2. Introduce the Remind Community to students:

   1. Communicate the purpose and benefits of joining the Remind Community.

   2. Provide clear instructions on how to join the community using Remind.

3. Daily engagement and inspiration:

   1. Share daily motivational messages or quotes through Remind.

   2. Provide updates on upcoming events, deadlines, or important information through Remind announcements.

   3. Encourage students to share their thoughts, ideas, or inspiring content within the Remind Community.

4. Facilitate peer interactions and support:

   1. Create discussion prompts or topics related to the learning material.

   2. Encourage students to engage in discussions and share resources or insights within the Remind Community.

5. Remind as a resource hub:

   1. Share additional learning resources, articles, videos, or relevant content through Remind.

   2. Encourage students to explore and discuss the shared resources within the community.

6. Celebrate achievements and milestones:

   1. Acknowledge and celebrate student achievements or milestones within the Remind Community.

   2. Provide positive feedback and encouragement to foster a supportive environment.
