During the first semester of the school year, I was a part of the ASL club. Joining this club equates to me joining the first ever club in the school. It was a very memorable and a unique experience for me. During our early meetings around September, we learned the sign languages which I found to be somewhat challenging. However, I knew that learning the sign language will prove useful for my future life. After we learned each vocabulary section, we would make a video collaborating with every member of each word. For example, the English alphabet. All of this was during the first semester where we had full online school. As our school reopens for full face-to-face instructions, my schedule becomes somewhat conflicted resulting in me making the decision to leave the club.

In 2022, I took an interest in playing a musical instrument. The instrument I chose was a trumpet. Since i did not have any previous musical background, it was kind of challenging for me to identify and read notes correctly. I practiced both at home and school for around 2 months until I learn how to identify and play each notes on the trumpet. I can now play simple songs such as Lightly Row, a traditional german song.
