Players look forward to a snack bag after they play the game to help them refuel and quench their thirst. Snack bags are meant to stave off hunger and offer a fun treat after the game.
With 14 scheduled games and 12 baseball families, if each family participates and signs up for one snack day, that should cover snack bags for most games. We will discuss special ideas for the remaining two.
When games are postponed or cancelled due to weather it is best that the current sign-up schedule is still followed. If your schedule snack day lands on a cancelled or rescheduled game please consider bringing snacks to the re-scheduled game. This protocol will help keep the current snack schedule intact. If you have any questions, contact the team secretary for guidance.
Snack tips—Healthy can still be fun! Here are some suggestions to a balance fun treats that also help players refuel. Keep in mind, if your signup date does land on a rescheduled or cancelled game, consider opting for non-perishable items so snacks are not wasted.
