I am glad I could attend the local experiments stage of the BNCOW negotiation competition as an interviewer. Judging from this position, I can stress out the paramount importance of such an experience for students. As with any competition, some participants were exceptional, while others needed more preparation. Regardless of their performance level, each participant realized the amount of growth he/she could accomplish through such exercises.
Throughout the competition, the students managed to adapt to the context, developed new perspectives on given situations, improved their communication skills and, most of all, identified ways to best present themselves in a job interview.
I very much regret not having had such experiences during my college years, as they would have greatly accelerated my career path.
Congratulations to the BNCOW team for creating this opportunity for students and to all professors and team members for flawlessly conducting the competition!
First of all, I would like to thank the BNCOW team for allowing me to take part in this online negotiation session. Similar to the fast-paced environment we all live and work in, the job market is also influenced by the high-speed of innovation and technological development. Therefore, I strongly believe that taking part in such negotiation competitions is beneficial to both parties: students and employees. As the manager of a growing real estate company and employer, interacting with future graduates helps me streamline my HR strategies. Interacting with practitioners and managers, students understand the business process better, and put their theoretical notions into a real-life context, hence becoming more aware of the costs implied by any business decision.
I was glad to encounter well-prepared students, who had previously researched the profile and background of our organization. Most of all, I appreciated the enthusiasm and active involvement of some of the participants and the way they were able to use both creativity and critical thinking in building their negotiation strategy. From a personal development point of view, I think such exercises help them practice formal speaking, use their business vocabulary, and improve their time management skills.
The multi-stage structure of the competition rewards the meritorious students and highlights the weaknesses of the less-prepare ones, all in all creating a highly motivational learning context.

Additionally, from May 19 to 22, I had the opportunity to attend the European Sales Competition in Graz, Austria, as a judge alongside Professor Cristian Dabija. That international experience helped me further develop my understanding of sales and negotiation assessment, and I believe it greatly enriched my contribution to the local competition as well. Thank you for the invitation and for the opportunity to be part of such a well-organized project that truly impacts young people in a meaningful way.
