Anomaly Description

SCP-1074 is a portrait-sized oil painting on canvas, produced by an unidentified artist. When photographed or videotaped, the entirety of SCP-1074 appears to be painted a uniform shade of gray, with distinctly visible brush strokes. Interviews with the subjects confirm that they are able to see a different painting than we do. When SCP-1074 is viewed by a human being, the observer immediately begins to exhibit physiological symptoms similar to the onset of Stendhal syndrome.

Some of the effects found were:

Being unable to move
Coughing
Loss of eyesight and hearing
Suicide

Special Containment Procedures

SCP-1074 poses no immediate risk in any direct sense due to it being non-sentient. SCP-1074 is to be kept in █ by █ stud chamber at all times. The SCP is to be pointed away from the observation glass.
