Anomaly Description
SCP-217 is a virus , incurable by current means, with a rate of 100% infectivity through direct contact. SCP-217 alters organic tissue in a body causing matter to re-arrange into a form of organic metal. Subjects begin to turn into a complex arrangement of gears and clockworks that take over regular functions. SCP-217 starts to appear internally on mammals when a subject is infected. Subjects that are infected are designated as SCP-217-1 and are more durable then a regular person. They are also able to do all functions that a normal human can do including wield weapons.
Special Containment Procedures
SCP-217 is to be held in a █ by █ stud chamber in Sector 3 within the Biological Containment Wing of Advanced Containment Facility Apollo. No personnel are to enter the area of the containment zone without a Hazmat Suit.
