Venue

The summer school will be held in Pálköve Nádfedeles Házikó (address: Kővágóörs, Kéktó u. 10, 8254 Hungary. http://palkove.hu/) near Lake Balaton in Hungary.

The closest train station is Balatonrendes, and it's about 15 min from there on foot.

You can book your tickets on this website: http://elvira.mav-start.hu/elvira.dll/x/index?language=2, or buy it directly at the train station. We recommend buying the tickets in advance. If you have a valid student ID, choose the "Student in full-time or evening course" option to get a 50% discount. You will only have to present your ID on the train.

Costs

The expected price will be about 140 euros per person. Breakfast and dinner are covered in the price.

The train ride from Budapest is 10 euros one way, 5 euros for students.

Dates

The dates of the summer school are 26-30 August 2019. We have the rooms booked already from Sunday the 25th, and we would recommend you to arrive that day, since classes start Monday morning at 9.

Registration

If you are interested, please confirm by filling out this form. We only have 33 spots in the house, including teachers, so “first come, first serve”! If we are many more than 33, we will try to arrange beds in nearby accommodation. There are still a couple of spots left (as of mid July), so please sign up!
