Meet Mobile

A helpful tool for swim meets — not something you need to master

You may hear coaches or other parents mention Meet Mobile. This page explains what it is, what it’s used for, and whether it’s helpful for your family.

Short answer: it’s optional, but useful.

What Is Meet Mobile?

Meet Mobile is a mobile app that allows parents and swimmers to:

View heat sheets
Track events and results
Follow swim meets in real time

It’s commonly used at USA Swimming–sanctioned meets across the country.

✅ What Meet Mobile Is Helpful For

Meet Mobile can help you:

See your swimmer’s event numbers, heats, and lanes
Follow the order of events during a meet
Check results after races
Keep track of long meet sessions

Many parents find it especially helpful at large or fast-moving meets.

🚫 What Meet Mobile is Not Used For

Meet Mobile is not:

Required to attend a meet
Used to register for swim meets
A replacement for coach communication
A substitute for heat sheets posted at the pool

If you don’t use Meet Mobile, you can still fully participate in meets.

💲Does Meet Mobile Cost Money?

Yes. Meet Mobile requires a paid subscription to access full features.

Some basic information may be visible for free, but most families who use the app regularly choose to subscribe.

Using Meet Mobile is always optional.
