This semester in Algebra 1, I learned a lot, especially with solving multi-step equations and remembering the rules for exponents. At first, these topics were tricky, but with practice and asking questions, I started to understand them better.
One thing I really liked this semester was the “problem of the unit” activities we did online. Each unit had one problem that made us think through everything we learned, and I liked how it helped me see the connections between different concepts. Doing these problems for all four units helped me get better at solving equations and using exponents.
The most satisfying part of the semester was seeing how much I improved. Even though some topics were hard at first, I learned that I can figure them out with effort and practice. If I could do something differently, I would start reviewing tricky topics sooner. Overall, this semester helped me get more confident in math and build better problem-solving skills.
