Participating in the BJHS Science Challenge and/or Science Academy will excite students about science while also preparing them to successfully compete in science competitions at the middle school and high school levels. These are great opportunities for your child to learn science outside of school and develop an interest in STEM careers. 

Our instructors and volunteers are dedicated to promoting your child's success in science and we hope to do this by introducing scientific concepts in chemistry, physics, and biology at a younger age. We are very passionate about these programs, and we have found that our own early exposure to STEM has helped us succeed in these competitions and advanced high school classes. BJHS students perform extremly well in science competitions and we would like to give back to our community by providing these opportunities to all MCS students through the BJHS Science Challenge and Science Academy.
