A district-wide science competition for elementary school students in grades 3-5 on April 4, 2026 in the afternoon.
The challenge includes a short test to measure student accomplishment in science followed by fun activities and labs, including poster/cartoon contests, HudsonAlpha kits, blood pressure labs, and more. For students who wish to prepare for the test, please visit the practice page of our website.
A science program for 4-5 graders hosted by BJHS students during the school year. Registration will open in July or August.
The main subject areas taught are Chemistry, Biology, Human Biology, Environmental Science, and Physics. Lessons include review games, activities, and experiments. Students earn tickets (for prizes) by answering practice questions, winning review games, and completing homework. Meetings are on Fridays, twice a month. The program is held in-person at BJHS.
