Forthcoming events

We meet every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning from 9:30 to 12:00, except bank holidays, with the main meeting being on the Wednesday. Often activities continue into the afternoon of the above dates depending on shedders available to support.

Committee meetings:

Committee meetings are on the third Wednesday of every month, the next one being on Wednesday 18th November 2026 (the third Wednesday), at 1.30 p.m

Shed club breakfasts at the Red Lion :

 8:05am, third Wednesday of each month.

Shed club lunches at the Red Lion:

12 noon, second Wednesday of each month.

Social side to the club

There is a social side to the club, which is very important (as presumably with many clubs). Here are some of us at the Red Lion, relaxing after working all morning at the club. From left to right, Dave, Alan (both long-standing members), Tony Morris (treaurer), Paul (secretary and membership secretary), Keith (chairman, and shedder of the year in 2025), Rob (fairly recent member), Tony Kingston (shedder of the year in 2024).

A slightly more recent picture. Nearly everyone here is also in the above picture, but on the far right is Nick - our longbow-maker (among other things). Also, second from the left is Hugh, who was our treasurer for many years.
