Teach classroom counseling lessons
Facilitate short-term small group counseling

A counselor-student relationship must be built on trust and confidentiality. This means that Ms. Deason is bound by ethical codes of the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) to keep conversations between herself and students private.
Someone is hurting the student.
The student is hurting others.
The student wants to hurt herself/himself/themselves.
The student gives the counselor permission to share the information with a trusted adult.
