Essential Beliefs are essential - must haves. In order to be a follower of Jesus, you must believe these things. Essential Beliefs are what we believe about God and Jesus and God's rescue plan for us.
Essential Beliefs About Humans:
People are made by God.
We all sin.
Our sin separates us from God.
The verses that tell us these beliefs are:
Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
Deuteronomy 6:5 You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.

Talk about how people are made by God.
Remind your kids we all sin. Sin is anything you think, say, or do that doesn't please God.
God loves us so much that he sent Jesus to rescue us from our sin.
Practice memorizing one of the verses above.
Pray and ask God to forgive you for your sins.
