Q: Where are the Humans in the World?

"Interlopers tended the world in their vast metal forests throughout the early times, these forests were forbidden to be entered. Over time the Interlopers became estranged to the earth and left their metal forests. Some say they moved into the southern lands to tend to a new metal forest, others say by sky, leaving the world all together. After they disappeared, creatures took over the once take their place. Now only murals and remnants of people remain intact. Their disappearance is often overlooked by Birbbers, they have no reason to ponder the disappearance of Interlopers."

The Humans (or otherwise known as Interlopers) do not exist anymore, their remains are only remnants of buildings, some bones and of course their city structures. What exactly happned to humans is meant to be a mystery, there is no strict answer. This is meant to be kept a mystery.

Q: Is Birbbers on Earth or on another planet?

"There is only one world: This World. There is nothing that can be achieved elsewhere."

It's a Parallel Earth. It is still earth with some changes, for humans there are major differences based on technology and society, but for the natural world, the changes are less intense and mostly plants and animals are different. Places familiar to us still exist, but might not be exactly how you might remember. One example would be in His Dark Materials, how the city of Oxford is in the same place in several multiworlds. References to modern cities, locations, etc. is allowed.

Q: Do real-life/mythological animals exist?

• • All current living animals exist. Currently extinct animals and mythological animals are exceedingly rare.
