Bike on the Road

import roads to Sygic (Android)

import roads to Sygic (iOS)

Sygic (prounouce /'saɪgic/) is a navigation application for mobiles.

The main advantage of the application is that it does not require 4G connection. It has its own maps downloaded locally and only use GPS location to guide you.

Any route file can be used by Sygic. However, Sygic is using its own file format .itf

Here are the steps to follow to get a route on your mobile. This is only working with Android phones !!

    • convert the original file in .itf format
    • drop the .itf file on your mobile device
    • open the route in Sygic
  • Convert route file in .itf format
    • Start ITN Converter
    • Open the file to be converted (example: route.gpx)
    • Select the items to convert (Routes, Waypoints)
    • Select the export filed format (Sygic GPS Navigation)
    • Click to Export
    • Select a destination and give your file a name
  • Drop the .itn file on your mobile
    • Be sure your mobile is supporting MTP Mode
    • For Android
      • ..\Internal storage (or any external storage where Sygic is installed)\Android\data\com.sygic.aura\files\Res\itinerary
    • For iPhone (Jailbroken)
      • ../var/mobile/Applications/Sygic/Library/Backup/sygic/aurares/itinerary
