The navigation results on your GPS depends on multiple parameters:
- the device model: each device has its own navigation algorithm and the results might differ from one device to another
- the software version: it is important to install the last version to get benefit of last improvements and bug fixes
- the map version: maps are regularly updated with new roads. It is important to have the last map version installed on your device
- the navigation parameters: it is possible to choose different settings (fastest route, shortest route, curve route). Results will totally differ depending on those parameters
- the avoidance parameters: it is possible to indicate that you want to avoid motorways or unpaved roads. Once again, results will differ.
- the predefined route and the number of way points: more way points are defined on the route, less capability has the GPS to calculate different routes.
